Iserlohn, Germany/ 16 August 2022: The LUCTRA® TABLE PRO lamp has long been the go-to solution for anyone wishing to work effectively at their desk in the office or at home with light that is not just good, but also healthy. It combines excellent design with biologically effective light. By simulating the natural course of daylight and adjusting to the user’s personal needs, it supports productive reading, writing and computer work. This effectiveness has even been proven in a clinical study.
Just like the table lamp, the LUCTRA® FLOOR floor lamp delivers excellent lighting. From desk work to reading, LUCTRA® FLOOR provides fully adjustable light colours and brightness levels for all kinds of activities.
Maximum light quality with low energy consumption
Eight years after the brand’s initial launch, LUCTRA® is now redesigning these two models. The new LUCTRA® TABLE PRO 2 and FLOOR 2 offer even better lighting and energy consumption performance, with improved light current and a CRI value of ≥90.
The improved energy efficiency allows the new models to achieve a higher light output than their predecessors while consuming less energy. This is accompanied by a new automatic shut-down feature that switches the lamps off four hours after they were switched on.
Award-winning features
The lamps’ award-winning design and mechanisms remain unchanged. They are available in the colours black, aluminium and white, and with a radial (round) or linear design. Two integrated USB connections lets users recharge smartphones and tablet PCs directly on the lamp.
The clever touch panel guides the user effectively through the various settings. The LUCTRA® has already received the German Design Award (GDA) for the touch panel’s design and intuitiveness.
In addition to the standard lamp base, the table lamps are available with a clamp, which allows the lamp body to be screwed onto any desktop with a thickness of up to 78 mm or mounted on the wall. Alternatively, the mandrel allows users to securely mount the LUCTRA® TABLE PRO 2 variants on any drill holes between 20 and 80 mm (with integrated cable conduit).
IGR-certified visual ergonomics
Visual ergonomics draws on flexible workplace lighting. All users have to do to adjust the light to their personal needs is tap the touch panel on the desk and floor lamps. Alongside the fully adjustable colour temperature of 2,700 to 6,500 K, users can get the most from the lamps via the adjustable light intensity and the boost function. This provides the best possible support for concentrated work. The Institut für Gesundheit und Ergonomie (Institute for Health and Ergonomics; IGR) has awarded LUCTRA® the ‘Ergonomic Product’ seal of quality. This confirms that table and floor lights from LUCTRA® have a positive effect on health, well-being and performance in the workplace.
