Restoring existing buildings

Sparkasse Iserlohn,Germany
Implementation: 2021

Between 2020 and 2021, Sparkasse Iserlohn modernised its premises. In addition to renovating the premises and the office spaces, and giving them brand-new, modern furnishings, the challenging ‘Restoring existing buildings’ project also included the installation of standard-compliant lighting in all areas. Starting in the entrance area, both the client consultation spaces and all staff workplaces were included in the new concept.

“When it came to choosing a lighting solution, excellent lighting quality and the ability to achieve flexibility with regards to the interior design were all important to us. For example, changes to the consultation concept also required different spatial organisation. With the VITAWORK® floor lamps, we were able to fulfil both requirements with a single product.” explains Bernd-Christian Fuhrmann from the Organisation Division.

Thanks to a combination of direct and indirect light, LUCTRA® VITAWORK® floor lamps are designed to illuminate the whole office space. The light can also be adapted to the user’s individual needs. The floor lamp meets the requirements of both the DIN EN 12464-1 standard and the German workplace ordinance ASR 3.4.

The lighting panel provides very even light distribution and the built-in LEDs are extremely energy efficient. “We are also delighted to have found in LUCTRA® a reliable, local partner.” All the models in the LUCTRA® range are made in Kamen (North-Rhine Westphalia), Germany. The components are also locally sourced, which helps keep the sales and transport distances short.
